If
you want to pay twice as much for half the results, hire a consultant who will
tell you what to do then leave you to do it on your own. If you want
to grab attention for six months, only to have to start all over again six months later, hire an ad agency. If you want a low-cost logo, launch a contest with a crowdsource web site, and wait to see who responds. If all you need is someone to pound out the work, hire a tool.
If you want to construct a sound, strategic foundation, then build upon it with concept-driven, creative executions to shape an enduring brand that will weather changes in consumer preference,
economic conditions, emerging technologies - and anything else the marketplace may throw at it - hire a craftsman.
